Spanking Game update + Info about February
🕑 Added 2025-01-28 15:44:08 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
The update is around the corner. It should be live on Thursday. As promised, here's an explanation about the updates for the spanking mini-game.
I'd like to mention that while there's progress, there are still elements to work on so it's not finished yet. But we're definitely getting closer to what I originall wanted.
First of all, the menu itself.
The Spanking mini-game has always been tought to be a game to just have fun so the rewards are going to be easy to get. If some of you want to tryhard, I've also thought about you.
There's going to be two game mode. Time Attack (which is the mode you've already played.) Trying to reach 10 points in 30 seconds. Of course, it's easy as fuck. What's interesting is how long you're going to take. As you can see in the pic, there's going to be 5 difficulty levels. They influence two things: the speed of the cursor and the size of the green area in the bar.
Easy is like easy as fuck, even if your cat walks on the keyboard you can win. You'll notice Anaëlle's hand. I've switched it to easy mode and harisen to the normal mode (to make the progression smoother and more coherent.) So then you'll have Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Extreme. For the moment, there's no NEW difficulty (it's still Normal and Hard), mainly because you can't really gather the HC yet to buy the accessories. So they should be added in the next update.
The right column is for the other game mode which is "Score Mode". Here, it's the opposite. You have 30 seconds to click as many times as you can. That also will be added in the next update. That's where the battles should be the funnier.
We've coded things so that the game remembers your best score for each category.
There are tiny things to tweak but this is the overall idea. It's REALLY for fun. Like if you don't want to do it, it's fine. The rewards are only for the first play (even if, technically you still get rewarded on further games with a single PP but at some point it will quickly become irrelevant.)
Don't mind the "Best Time" that will also be corrected at the release. But this is the reward screen where you'll see what you'll be able to win depending on the mode and difficulty. When the reward will have been claimed, a little tick will appear next to it.
And that's it. It's a small mini-game but I hope some of you will have fun with it. And if you don't care, don't play it. The finished game is meant to have enough content to let people do whatever they want so there should be enough PP to unlock everything without having to do everything in the game.
Now, about February.
I have something important to announce: this year I'm going to move. But it's not like in the past. I'm moving 500 km away from where I currently live. So the logistics isn't the same at all, there's much more stuff to plan and organize. And I'm reaching a point where I have to take roughly a whole week to prepare stuff (meeting with the mason & electrician, ordering things that need to be delivered and installed (floor, doors etc...)) so I won't be able to work during that week since I'll move there. Add to that the fact that February is a small month, the next update will obviously be smaller than the last two ones. I'll do my best to provide you with as much content as I can, but I prefered warning you.
I will also make a post in February about the global state of SoVR and what I'm planning for the months after. So stay tuned!
I'll see you on thursday for the release!
See ya o/
