We are excited to unveil the 7th Class Ability added to Ethereal this week. However, in a change of plans, the GDA department at Undying Games has decided to alter the previously announced Marksman Class Ability. Below the team will share their reasoning behind the decision and provide more information about the new Class Ability that has been chosen as a replacement.
"One of our goals behind the class system in Ethereal is to give every player a fun, skill-expressive tool that interacted with Elysium itself in some way. These abilities are meant to be the backbone that draws you to a certain role, and with that in mind we decided to revisit the Marksman Class ability. The old ability, a mobile ward that could scan the jungle for pesky ganks, was a good defensive tool but lacked the action-focused gameplay that is associated with the Marksman class. Instead, all Marksman Class Myths now have access to a short-range blink that can help them escape, dodge, scale terrain, or chase down their mark. This ability has a long recharge, but participating in an enemy Myth takedown will shorten the cooldown to encourage those 'flashy' plays! Happy Hunting." - GDA Department
What do you think of the Marksman Class Ability? Do you like the changes?
See you again soon,
