It DoesN'T work for RHD 767 bought on MS Marketplace Steam FS2020 and the instructions are a little unclear.

well shawn i tried that but it didn't work for me. the plane was all quiet.Any chance you have the modified files you did so us freigh dogs an overwrite on ours, with good step by step instructions? thanks!!

Hey guys, I Finally figured out how to make the sound file for the 767-300_GE expansion work for the new CS 767F model. hope this helps forgive me for any wording. its was easier done than typed out HAHA 1). copy & Rename the Downloaded sound file (B763GE_Sp). You can re-name the 2nd to whatever you desire. I named my copy B763FGE_Sp for example. I would also use MSFSLayoutGenerator to edit the layout.json file) 2). rename B763_GE_4D & B763_GE_6D to CS763BCF & CS763F inside the newly renamed (B763FGE_Sp) sound folder to match the freighter model sound files. For example, \SimObjects\Airplanes\CS763BCF\sound & \SimObjects\Airplanes\CS763F\sound 3). put the Renamed B763FGE_Sp copy sound folder into your community folder. ( I Highly recommend using MSFSLayoutGenerator to edit the763 freighter's layout .json file as well.) 4): finally, just got back into the layout json and delete both sound.xml files

A) - No "sound/sound.xml" ? - no problem ! , just delete the 2 entries that have "Asobo_B747_8i.PC.PCK" { "path": "SimObjects/Airplanes/CS763ER_GE_4D/sound/Asobo_B747_8i.PC.PCK", "size": 57121008, "date": 133216419319754068 }, and { "path": "SimObjects/Airplanes/CS763ER_GE_6D/sound/Asobo_B747_8i.PC.PCK", "size": 57121008, "date": 133216420086288865 }, (💡 the "size" and "date" can be diffirent ). B) - Still no sounds ? 👉 rename the 2 sound folders found inside : ..\\captainsim-aircraft-m863\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS763ER_GE_4D\ ..\\captainsim-aircraft-m863\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS763ER_GE_6D\

Hi ! thanks for great sounds. I am trying to install them now, follwing the instructiosn and i cant find the sound/sound.xml in the .json file. only have the two lines for 4D and 6D with the Sound B747_8 and SoundAI B747-8. any suggestions? Captainsim folder is in official/steam/capatainsim aircraft p863 and FTsim sound folder is in Community folder.

why do sounds suddenly disappear in the Salty mod for captain sim 767 when the aircraft pauses at TOD? Otherwise sounds working fine

I can't seem to get any sound. I've placed the folder inside my community folder but nothing. Are you saying we need to move the captainsim 767 folder out of the community folder and into the official directory?

Nope , just install the New sounds on the "Community" folder and make sure your Captainsim B767 inside the "official\...\" directory ( like the other Default Asobo Aircrafts )
