I can't get the "ATC chatter" to work -- is this functional? I followed all the instructions but don't hear anything when I dial into those channels

For some reason in v1.44, the flaps sound seems to be cut off immediately after deployed/retracted. FTSim++ may you recitfy?

💡 MSFS dose not support (to this Moment) the sounds "View Direction" on the interior view ( 0° ... 360° sound direction ) - if This feature was available then it will be possible te separate the engine Intake/Exhaust noises ( like on the Exterior )

Works fine. One really needs to read the instruction carefully and follw all steps. Seems to work also fine with the heavy division mod. Only thing here like with the 747 sound: inside & wingwing sound seem a little quiet with all sound settings set to 100%. But nothing to complaine about. Still an awesome sound. Just wish for an future update a goosebumb ROAR :)

🙂 We should have Remove it if it did not work and the Instruction is inside "INFO.pdf" with Pictures . 👉 The Install is very simple ; 1/ Go inside your Asobo Aircraft Folder \HLM_Packages\Official\Steam or OneStore\asobo-aircraft-b787-10\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_B787_10\ 2/ Rename The "sound" folder to anything you want ( "sound1" , "oldsounds" .... ) 3/ extract the Sound Pack and Move "B787_Sp(RR)" inside the "Community" folder

nothing works. i had installed what is written in the readme but i have no sound. no mod installed. very sad. 4,50€ for nothing

Thanks for this great audio, 2 requests: - Can the seatbelt sign audio be updated to those longer dings that play when starting the engines? That is the seatbelt sign noise I've heard on 787s - Can the engines be louder inside when moving behind the engines for wing view? The engines become nearly silent when moving past the wing (I see a recent update made them louder, but I still can't hear them at all when I move to the back of the plane in wing view)

I noticed that there are 2 787 sound packs now for MSFS2020. How does the sim know which one to pick? Do we drop both sound sets in the community folder and the sim will know which one to pick (which I doubt), or do we need to code something? COnfused.

The reverse thrust roar is either missing or it needs to be amped quite a bit. I fly on 787's fairly regularly and the roar of the reverse is definitely missing.

Hi FTSim+. Had noticed that you updated many sounds pack these few weeks. Will this be updated any sooner? Looking forward to have more tweaks on the wings such as: 1. Landing gear retracting and deploy sound (Currently non, but default have) 2. Louder engine sounds 3. Louder Rolling sounds

Good afternoon. I added the 787 sounds as per the instructions ( 99% sure correctly ) and I'm getting zero sounds in the cockpit now. No aircraft sounds whatsoever. No internal or external ) I can finally hear the useless ATC again lol. All the environmental / vehicles sounds are working, just nothing aircraft related. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi FTSim+. Ggreat effot for your sound adjustment for v1.41. Cockpit sounds are quite more or less perfect. However, I think as much as you had focused on the cockpit, i think you should also do the same on passenger side (for example wing views) to get the realistic feel as a passenger: 1. Engines + roar are too quiet at the wing 2. Rolling sounds are too quiet at the wing 3. No gear sounds (landing/retracting) at the wing. Hope you will look into this. Thanks.

hi..it was user error I didnt have the folder inside the main zip in the community I only had the moain folder in..it works now..wow!

The touchdown was fixed in this version ! , still not working ?? will test is again Planning to make the "Genx" from a while but still can't till now , but will continue to try and release it soon as possible

Great update! But in 1.4, I don't know if it's intentional, but engine sound is now controlled by the "aircraft miscellaneous" option in the sounds menu. Also, seat belt chime is <3

just working on an update today and i indeed heard the v1 Call ( about +140 knot ) , but v2 ? i don't have any Parameters for now it because Asobo Locked Most of this aircraft codes

Thank you for always great sound data!! Since Ver1.31,flapI think the noise of the electro-hydraulic system while operating the flaps has become quieter. Is it possible to make it as loud as before!? (However, in reality, it may not sound as loud as I think in the cockpit.)

Great sound, I like it. If you could improve the following points, it would be perfect. The engine should be a little louder. The volume of the thrust reverser in the cockpit view is very low. Add a sound for seatbelt sign. Sound for the vibration from the ground when landing, like the A32NX. Thank you.

Thanks , - The Whine sound is from the hydraulic "On-Demand" Pumps , it usually start when the Gears , Spoilers or the Flaps are moving . >> in MSFS is simulated only for the Flaps : it start when the flaps are Deployed and stop after they are fully retracted . - Only Wind Drag effect is added For the "Spoilers" for now , it react with Airspeed and the Spoilers deploy Angle

Excellent mod. I like it a lot, especially the GPWS callouts are high quality sound. It feels now a whole different plane with the sound mod. this is how it should be. Therefore i have 2 issues with the mod. There is a whine sound persist when extending the flaps, it goes away only retracting all the flaps. Also there is no sound effect when spoilers are engaged. Other than that everything is perfect. Thanks for making this mod.

yes , but you need first to restore the Aircraft folder to its original state ( if you made a change before ) and renaming the "sound" folder

Just tried the 1.3 version and it works great! No issues whatsoever and the sounds are amazing. The GPWS call-outs are accurate when landing now. The mod is almost perfect. Just a few suggestions and comments though. There is no "ding" sound for the seatbelt button, and you can't hear the engines inside the cockpit when the engines are in full reverse.. Maybe also adding a "ding" sound when the landing gear is retracted or lowered, just like in real life? :D

Renaming the sound.xml removed my aircraft from the list. Having it as just "sound" and not "sound.1" works for me.

Also noticed that the GPWS is not accurate. When landing, the plane touches down at the 20 feet callout

Nothing to this time but We still trying to find a solution . maybe some day the Premium protection of the MSFS will be unlocked or "Quality Wing" will convert their B787 for MSFS

Update: all is working now. I started over from scratch - no idea what I did differently this time, but no CTDs!!!

Yes, python is installed and I double clicked on the python file. It crashes to desktop as soon as I try to click on World Map (after opening MSFS). Once I remove and copy over the default folder, the sim works. Please help. Should I be download the FIX zip file as well?

Sorry brand new to this file/mod and just became a patreon. As of today, May 10 -- what is the exact process to install this so that it works? I'm already confused reading all the comments of what to do, what not to do, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. To be clear, all I did was delete the eatplpxx.fsarchive from the b787 folder, then copied simobjects and the python file into the folder. Then ran python. Is that all?

Ok the sounds are working perfectly, however I can't seem to operate the wipers or bring down the heads up display, only when I revert to the old layout.json does it work again but no sounds.

- Make sure that you Moved only the "eatplpxx.fsarchive" inside another folder "mjtiejjn.fsarchive" & "scwanqdo.fsarchive" must remain inside \asobo-aircraft-b787-10\SimObjects\ - You need to Run the "Build.py" after the new files are installed

Every time I try and install I don't see the 787 in the selection. I've followed the instructions and even done other methods.
