Any chance of getting real system sounds for this pack ie GPWS, proper trim whooler, cabin call bell, master caution/warning etc. As paraC barrellet some ground drone would be amazing when you land/reduce to idle

Good sound pack but the ATR never used the PT6. The older ATR72 used PT124-127s and the newer ATR72 has PT127XTs

when I tried installing it I cannot find any sound.xml in that folder, instead there's a Microsoft_ATR_Common.PC.PCK file and I don't know what do do with that

I must thank you for this sound pack, it's really a must for this aircraft, v1.04 made wonders to take off, inflight and hydraulic sounds. I have only some questions or request, seems you are currently still working on it aparently. 1- I don't know your plans, if the boeing type TAWS/GPWS is a paliative or something, but would be really great to have custom TAWS/GPWS airbus type, like the real ATR like Mikey said. 2- Maybe it's the aircraft behavior in the sim that makes the RPM sound drop too fast when moving PWR MGT from TO to CLB, is it possible to tweak it? 3- The engine sound(propeller) on taxi now sounds with a little more "low" or "bass" on it than it seems to have in real life. But it could be me though. Maybe something related to equalizing given that the take off sound (which is awesome now) sound with a little more "high"? My opinios are based on times I was a passenger on ATR (and I have videos with audios that I can provide if you find it useful) and on this video from a full flight from magnar with an ATR 42-600: https://youtu.be/pwBO_BqJfp0 and this other video with atr 72-600: https://youtu.be/CKfHpthZmNA Once again, thank you, and would love to get an answer.

v1.04 is a step in the right directon but the ATR TAWS/GPWS callouts are closer to airbus callouts then they are boeing. May I suggest seeing if you can get system sounds from Magnar's video here: https://youtu.be/qWpVFSodtKo?si=20WnEV0Rl2kYbqzs

I am with Mikey here, the ATR is my all time favorite plane in MSFS and your sounds are so much better than the original, still some are missing like switches, GPWS etc. Please, please update this one, thank you

Great soundpack, much better than default. I guess there is an issue when taxiing after landing, when turning off engine 1 the turbine sound seems to go away instantly and you can only hear engine 2 propeller, is that right?

When you are on the ground engines off but batteries and ext power off the cabin is completely quiet. There should be little cooling/electronics sound. And aft cabin has that very strong electronics and systems sound.

Engines sound incredible on the ground. However in flight theyre way too quiet. Especially on takeoff roll. Please change this! Or how can i change it? The cruise wind & Engine noise levels need to be flipped bascially

Has the installation process changed? Now, just copy the ATR72_SP folder into the Community? What causes confusion is that there is another image (in the INFO file) showing the directories: microsoft-aircraft-atr” must be inside : “HLM_Packages\Official\Steam\” or “HLM_Packages\Official\OneStore\” Can someone please clarify this?

That's a behavior of the sim aircraft. The engine modelling is not very good for turboprops in MSFS. If you want to limit the "revving up" then you can put the engine mode selector to CLB while you are taxiing. This isn't realistic obviously, but it limits the RPM to 82%. Just remember to reset it before you press TO CONFIG or try to takeoff.

Need to be fix : - Can we get please the real GPWS and FWS sounds - Also the sound for the button CALLS ATTND (buttom left side on the overhead panel) - the gear up/down looks like a sound from a default asobo aircraft - When we are in iddle position, if we add a little bit of power, then the sound is changing radically like if we are taking off... - the purr sound of the engines during taxi is mythic on this aircraft ! you can inspire you from the TSS pack on FSX/PD3 ( from minute 1:44 on this video https://youtu.be/06n6O1awvyQ ) - the reverses... Thanks a lot team for your time and your work !

Move "ATR72_Sp" to Community folder. Go over to the Official folder and go to microsoft-aircraft-atr\SimObjects\Airplanes\Microsoft_ATR_Common\sound and copy the one file ending in .PCK to the "sound" folder found deep within the ATR72_Sp folder you extracted before to Community. Paste it there with the other two files. Don't worry about any other steps from the .pdf.

1.01....big improvement over stock. The prop sounds are much better, specifically at takeoff power, during start and un-feathering. Thank you! Suggestions: In CLB/CRZ settings for PWR MGT (i.e. 82 %NP), the propellers are probably too quiet. The sound pitch seems good, but needs to be louder to have some drone in the background. Wind sound: The wind sound used, doesn't seem right for a regional aircraft. My impression is that the ATR probably has a pretty "hissy" wind sound in the cockpit because it has draggy stuff (wipers, ice detector, etc. hanging out by the windshield. Hotel mode is a big issue, even with stock. It should just sound like an APU is running, except the sound source is the right engine. Is there a variable or event for the prop brake? It would be amazing if you could separate the prop and turbine sound for the right engine, based on the prop brake state.

In your release notes, you say the engine is a PW PT6? Shouldn't it be PW127M? Or XT or something along those lines?

The ATR does not feature a PW-PT6 (MSFS is using the generig PT-6 sound currently). So are you sure you are on the right way with this soundset? Was hoping to be able to test this soundset bevore buying the partially buggy ATR, but unfortunately the demo video is lacking also.

Hey @FTSim+. I really like the sounds for the ATR. It's just that when I use the travel tool the engine sounds stop altogether. The same problem occurs for all of the other packs with engine sounds as well. All of the other sounds work fine after I use the travel tool. Just wondering if you could help me fix this.

Hello @FTSim+ I have some recordings in High quality of the aircraft (no background noise) if you are interested, you can use them for your soundpack: sounds includes = switches, Most of the EGPWS Modes and Altimeters callouts, systems dings/warning systems sounds. Let me know if interested

This is not working for me. No sounds after following directions. Sound.xml hack is undoable because sound.xml does not exist in the location specified.

One suggestion: atm sound of propellers in CLB RPM are more like they sound in ground idle (that typical prop roar). Should be more like they sound at 100% RPM, but at a lower pitch.

Thank you! Huge difference. My three critiques 1) When the prop brake is on, you still hear the sound of the blades slapping rather than a constant high pitched sound like the real aircraft. I assume this might be something beyond your control? 2) When switching from TO to CLB, the sound of the torque reducing dies down too quickly. 3) The cruise sound is a bit lower pitched than the real -600, and there is a bit too much simulated asymmetry.
