Howie Did It - 3D Printing a PCB
🕑 Added 2024-11-15 19:15:30 +0000 UTCWe might have been mildly distracted last week by a new arrival - we lucked into a solid 2 door Mk1 Escort shell - so we were very, very excited. No money was spent - we swapped it for our rotten R33 Skyline with a friend of ours.
Anyway enough of Mk1 Escorts (you can't have enough of Mk1 Escorts), here's the Howie Did It video on the 3D printing malarkey.
You guys already know the struggles we had but even so, we hope you enjoy the video!
As ever, thanks ever so much for your support.
Cheers!
Nik and Richard.

Again, one of the best reasons to follow you guys. Putting to use what others might co spider wasted video.

Madness. Absolute Madness. Quite what I have come to expect. Cheers.

No, frankly. But if we'd known about the mains power issue or if there hadn't been a mains power issue, it'd have been completed much faster.

knowing what you know now, and how much blood, sweat and tears it would take to pull off, are you still happy that you did it this way over sending it out to a PCB Fabricator?
Matt
Mad brilliance, or brilliant madness? You decide.

I would love to see EEVBlog react to this, I really wonder about the current requirements of this circuit compared to a copper traced one. [EDIT] Also, there are a couple of minutes of black silence after the bunny/rabbit.
