How ya get on there, all good?

Munted

right well it's an update so that's a start

David Yates

How soon is now?

Ben Gray

This isn’t an airport etc etc etc.

Bruce Gorney

Is a project ever finished? Can't wait to see the final result!

Louis

Awsome lads! Where are you going to in Ireland, would love to see binky up close.

Harri Haataja

If there's a video, it doesn't work. A link would be more robust. Good to hear there's progress.

Nathen Fredrick

We can petition bom to build a waaaahmbulance for you, but it would take them 10 years to build.

Adam Stadnick

Just happy to know you guys are okay. I have kept the faith and will continue to do so. "It's done when it's done."

Guy Chapman, the Solutions Archaeologist

What is this word "finished" you keep using?

Ian Ritchie

Improbability drive.... Now THAT's got me thinking.....

Alex Abroad

Was starting to get worried 😅

Sister Jayne

I remember when I 'finished' building my motorbike, the first real ride to shake down any quirks or faults. "She's done." I said... Oh yeah, but I just needed to do this and that and now three years later, she looks a little tatty in places and there's the scratch from where I dropped her. Then there are things I would do differently now that I am more experienced... Trust me, episode 40 will not be the last one! Projects are never really finished, not when you love them and then start to miss working on them. My bike needs to come off the road again now, the paint on the engine has stone stone chips and cracks, the front wheel looks tatty and the suspension needs a clean and a service, Plus there is the half a MM play in the swing arm. Time to start all over again. It's going to be an adventure! Good luck guys, I look forwards to seeing what you do when you reach the mid point!

Dan Langli

Hopefully it's not something bad, however, you're hemorrhaging users because of it, a life sign once a month is all it takes. At least it's 10 minutes taking your mind of whatever the stuff is, the reward is retaining users which pays you cash money to create as many brackets as you'd like. Which I hope keeps Nik somewhat sane (if you could call it that, better than him building hobnob parts again :)).

Baron Von Azzkikr

Cool , can't wait

Patrick Kennedy

Love that even when they release a major update people aren't happy. Thanks for letting us know we won't have to see your whinging moving forward!

Grant Browning

The improbability drive was powered by the Golden Bail of Prosperity, aka ‘award for the most gratuitous use of the word fuck in a serious screenplay’. It was a constituent part of the key to the Wikket gate, along with Perspex, wood, steel and silver. No mention was ever made of it all being held together with brackets fabbed up out of 2mm plate before being anodized in a god awful green hue and liberally waxoyld. However I will grant you it does feel as though Binky has been locked up in a Slo-Time envelope for a good while now.

Caleb Merriott

I was just complaining to my wife last night about the months long gap. You're welcome for the update everyone

Riska

Nice to see an update..

Dan North

A good project car (bike) is never really done.

Michel

This whole concept of "done" is odd anyway, I've done a frame-up rebuild of my bike in oooh 2016, and there's still a few things that need tidying up, at least one bracket that still needs building (Mmm. Bracket.) and I might never get around to that new paint job I've been thinking about since even before I totaled it.

Dan North

I have been building my car since about 2007. Many times life has gotten in the way and slowed (or stopped for years) progress. But any time I am lacking motivation or feel I'm running out room in the car, I can count on a couple lads in a shed for the inspiration to keep going. And to remind me I'm not the only bell-end doing big things in a tiny car.

rovingpen

Best part of this video was the subtitles for the electric guitar:Ychwanegwch ychwanegwch ychwanegwch ychwanegwch ychwanegwch ychwanegwch.

Michel

Well it kind of is an excuse. It's certainly a reason. Life can get quite lively at times and we've all had a couple of years of it. Hang in there. Besides, we're a decade in, what's a few months? ;-)

Carlin Comm

For me, this is inspirational to see someone stay on a project for so long. Also, if I ever worked on something for more than many years, I'd be terrified to take it out and enjoy it. Thanks for letting us take a peak in the shed now and then to see how its going.

Bad Obsession Motorsport

You're absolutely right Marius. And I'm sorry. Dealing with other stuff not for public consumption has impacted somewhat, but that's no excuse.

Marius Nilssen

Nice to see some sort of update but it would be nice to see posts more often, just a quick heads-up that you are indeed still alive. You disappeared for several months and didn't deliver on any of the videos which is OK, but people here would love it if you just came in an said ''hey the scheduled videos will be delayed but we are still working on it'' instead of complete radio silence on all social media. ''We're always humbled by it and we're doing everything we can not to let you down.'' Looking at the comments on the previous post there are already A LOT of people who are let down. You have lost well over 1000 members here on Patreon the past two years and the numbers are steadily coming down further. It takes 10 minutes out of your day once or twice a month to post a short paragraph with a status update and it would be for your own good to keep people updated. Seems like such a dumb way to lose a lot of long time fans and supporters.

Simon Heywood

Is the custom Toyota Celica going to be fitted with an Austin Mini engine and running gear?

Micael Antunes

Absolutely right sir.

Tom Edwards

Patreon for BOM cancelled. After supporting you guys for years through YouTube views and via Patreon I'm no longer willing to pay you each month for a single Binky video in over a *year* to then have a 1 minute B-Roll video of something from Silverstone which isn't what I'm interested in.

russell Hiscock

Everybody knows the first 80% takes 80% of the time and the other 80% takes the other 80% of the time...

Tony Harris

We'll see..

Bad Obsession Motorsport

The idea is to finish on 42...

Michel

40 episodes? I'm sure you can make it to 42, just add an improbability drive somewhere.

Michel

I think you lads are well into your third 90% by now though. ;-)

Niek Hoogendoorn

As always, happy to hear from you lot and look forward to your latest ventures into the land of automotive projects (or should I spell that 'insanity'?) 😁

Charles Blair

Looking forward to it, thanks for sharing the update. Charles

Bell end

so excited
