One thing I have been interested in is the possibility of players being able to communicate via train orders and telegraph in group play. While I am excited for signals and the ability to control them as a signalman in gameplay, I am interested to know if players might be able to take the role of a "station agent" or "dispatcher", sending and receiving train orders to pass on to players running trains.

Question: You guys mentioned Railroad Tycoon, more specifically, Railroad Tycoon 3, playing a role in the inspiration of it. Though unlikely, my question is would we perhaps run into rival railroad companies that "might've" been in the area that the game takes place in, or would we simply have the region to ourselves without potential competition? An example perhaps being, let's say, the San Juan Map you guys announced, perhaps we have to compete with the Denver & Rio Grande, or the Silverton Northern Railroad, or the Denver Southpark & Pacific within the San Juan Region, just to name three off the top of my head. - GentlemanFox1991
