I did. It is dependent on the Vitality stat, race, and age acquired. With high enough vit, a human could live for multiple centuries. Elves could live for 1000+ years with their already natural longevity. There’s no immortality, unless supported by the system, of course.

BubblyGhost

Hey Author-bro, did you ever make a comment on lifespan/interaction with stats? I vaguely remember you did, but I could always be wrong.

SunriseCV

Yeah, I always say that he is already equivalent to an average level 250 or so. At 150 he will probably be around the same as an elite level 250. There is still the problem of those Legendary Monsters. They grow at about the same rate as Derek. I'd have to get my spreadsheet out and do some maths to figure out the exact numbers.

SunriseCV

Well, they can't just go powerleveling. Almost nobody can run even a regular dungeon alone, so they would need a competent team to go that route. Rare classes that give 15 stat points per level are very rare. Only the elite usually have those type classes. There is a rich history of Noble Houses falling because of incompetences, Gracefall is one of them, but they got lucky. Children of Noble Houses do level much faster than others. They have more information on Awards, teams meant to strictly help them level, whatever leveling/class secrets that have been passed down through generations, etc... Rayna was able to gain a few levels in the time that Derek had been gone, and that is fantastic, and pretty much all reliant on her class... that she obtain with Derek's help. As for the psychosis, that's actually very easy to explain. Power corrupts. That's a non-disputable fact. It may not corrupt the first person with it, or even the second, but it will. It's one of the main reasons for the fall of Kingdoms and Empires in Earth's history. They get power, neglect their citizens, the people revolt or it leads to a Coup d'état. Now imagine worlds with actual physical and magical powers. Worlds where people live well over 1 or 2 centuries. You always have the 'Ancestors' in those cultivation novels to protect their clan or sect when some heir offends someone they shouldn't. I mean, it never goes well for them against a MC, but they always survive long enough to get to the MC. XD I forget which light novel/web series I was reading. It was either a Korean or Chinese translated one. It was Sci-Fi Cultivation. The MC cultivated to the top of his world and set his family up to live the good life, etc... before leaving for space. Then, he cultivated in the universe for centuries before finally going back to his world to see how it and his family were doing. He ended up culling much of his family because they had become one of those psychotic Noble Houses. I wish I could remember the name because I always thought that was something that should happen more often in novels where the MC lives so long.

why are nobles always psychotic in these worlds. I mean in a world where anyone with a grudge could go power leveling for a few years then come back and finish off anyone involved, the nobles would either have to be extremely competent or constantly be leveling themselves. Where do they have the time for things like this

Adam

I would imagine that if he reaches level 150-200 few if any would be his match in the entire world given that just rare classes are not even 1,000 and epic maybe 1 in million and most don’t get them till level 50 or higher but with the system bug he will be at least as strong as if he got his legendary class at the beginning plus since it is a growth legend class at 150 or 200 he might get something broken light Demi-god or divine rank where he basically becomes a lesser or Demi-god of the void just a step away or being only being behind the system council in levels.

Stephen Pearson

Thanks for the chapter! :-)

SunriseCV

A third system! How powerful does he need to get? XD

TerrestrialOverlord

Wow..I did not expect Derek to semi-confess..that was really cool. And that Malorie took the hint and not flinch away and also be understanding....👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I'm Still wary about the assassination pending...I know it won't succeed but I really want to know how Derek stacks to real power. We got an idea with his resistance to Alana. Without exertion he'll stagnate...I really want him to grow. Random thought can Derek go into the void? To travel to another system world? A way to go past his limits again. Muhahahha! Never mind my temp insanity...🙃
