If I correctly recall the Puppy Surprise jingle, you could get three or four or five puppies. I was very bummed when I minned out with three.

I truly think more NPCs need to just say no and/or overtly hate them them. Like the winery wereraven guy, just let him dislike them and say no to things as soon as they start being crazy to him a nanosecond after meeting. I think the triplets would like that even.
