I loved the collab with mile higher. This case is so sad and I am really grateful that you and Garrett always try to highlight the positive such as the palm tree and focus more on the victim than the perpetrator.

I feel so bad for Matthew's parents, not only did they lose such a loving son, and had to endure so much pain, and they can't even get justice for him. But I'd like to think that not only did Matthew create new life through the palm tree, but it protected him from wildlife so that eventually he could be found and brought home. But on another note when that monster dies, I don't think many people will be sad. But this collab is like my two favorite true crime podcasts/YouTubers clashing together, love it and looking forward to another collab with Kendall & Josh. Great podcast Payton & Garrett, all love from Denmark! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been waiting for this collab! But this case always gets me. I’m Australian and from the same area as him. My parents actually worked at the hospital he was born in. Such a sad case. His parents are so lovely. I’ve listened to a multi part podcast of them talking about everything they went through before during and after his passing. Poor Matthew. Gone too soon.
