Hey all! NegiCake here with a new, updated way for me to get info out to you!
I would like to go over plans and goals for this year as I hope they'll play out.
Granted, while I am a single person, I'm going to do my best to get things done.
So, without further ado, let's jump in!
- Updates for Visual Novel -
Initially, when I decided to tackle this, I had a lot of passion. I had this desire to create something wonderful with characters all created by me. As days became months, I realized that I bit off WAY more than I could chew. That's okay though! With that realization, I've been making changes to not only the characters but the whole plot as well!
"Worth More Than Gold" (Placeholder Title), was originally created as a romance visual novel following your life as a high school student. I've always found the high school setting quite lovely but as I really cracked down on it, it's not the setting I want now.
Instead, it now focuses on the time frame after high school and into college. All the characters are roughly early to mid 20s. I want to tell a story focusing on young adult issues but still keep that romantic charm of high school life.
You'll now get to know more characters than just Amber. Unfortunately, while I'd love to go into more details about that, I want to keep things more of a surprise for the time being... <3
As much as I'd love to give a time frame of this project's completion, I honestly don't know. There's a HUGE amount to go into it and I've barely scratched the surface. Do keep an eye out for updates!
- 18+ Comic -
To help build on my skills, I'm also tackling a small comic. I plan on finishing this in 2020. The comic is going to be about Princess Daisy. I have a couple of ideas for this comic already but this is something I want to share with you and the members in my Discord server. A few of you suggested it be solo Daisy and a few more suggested Daisy x Luigi. In order for me to get this out, I need to get the planning done quickly. There are a couple of pages already sketched so we're making a decent start!
For this comic, I don't know how but I'd love for it to be printed! That'll be something to discuss later on but I also want to incorporate a special item with the comic. A wonderful friend of mine, BlueChika, had made some enamel pins of her character and I think that would be a nice thing to do to go with the comic. I'm thinking cute Daisy pin?

I MOSTLY play on Switch but I do have friends where we can play some party PC games.
