Cold Wind Chapters 43-45 + Holiday Schedule!

Before we get into COLD WIND this week, I want to update you guys on the holiday schedule.
I'm planning on taking a break from posting the weeks of 12/22 and 12/29.

My plan is to post a snippet of a little something I'm working on as a potential next series (for after Ironbound is done). It's another progression fantasy and I would love to get your thoughts on it as a concept! It's something I'm still noodling on and am open to feedback as what I look to for my next series.

In the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy this last Cold Wind post of the year. Thank you so much for all the love on Ironbound and for the support. I can't wait for you guys to read the rest.

Right now this arc is set to be four books. Beyond that there's definitely more I'd love to do in the world and universe, but a little dependant on the publisher and how it sells!

How long are you planning for this series as a whole? I'm absolutely loving it, and just with hints of Nihon, dragon, god conflicts, I can easily see this lasting 7-12 books (which for me sounds absolutely fantastic). I'm loving the show be tell, the constant character growth, all the seeds being down, the rituals and culture and language, and the higher scales of last. I can see everything from romance, to full war rebellion, to naval travel, to a God war even.

I’ve been doing some research because I didn’t remember Alessandra being blonde, as we see in this chapter 😅. In chapter 9 of Cold Wind, she has brown hair (I didn’t notice back then that she was cultivating storm essence—now I can’t wait to see her in action), and in chapter 29 of Ironbound, her hair is described as dark black

I know that not every chapter can progress the main story as quickly as I want, but these few chapters feel a little more fluffy than the action packed chapters from a few weeks ago. Hoping the pace picks up again and instead of being constantly reminded that his hearts are out of whack that we actually see a path to the problem being resolved.
