The constant smiling makes this guy pretty unlikable. I think you’ve stepped over the line with this dude’s cockiness. Also, we need a better reason behind him doing stuff that others can’t. He noticed the sand shift? Why can only he do that while others couldn’t? Another thing, if he needs to cultivate fire so bad, why can’t he just say that he needs to train his frost by jumping in fire, that would seem pretty believable to me.

Unreal chapters — might be a bit of a stretch but he could try lying down the line and say he can sense water (sweat) on people with elder winter. Would explain his poor performance in gladiator sim.
