Not my favorite, personally, but the use of negative space was clever IMO.

I guess if I went with my preferences, I would go with 4, then 1 then 2 and 3 was just fairly off putting to me. The eye setup on 3 puts me in mind of Eighth Seal and it was kind of intense. But I think 4 kind of brings it back to the earlier book covers.

I quite like the idea of how Alfred is shown here using the negative space. Perhaps if the smoke/mist made his presence a bit more subtle rather than obvious. The design of the urn isn't my favourite though, no. 2's has the best design imo. If I had to choose from the 4 as they are though, I would say No.2. Though as mentioned previously, all the designs have some really good aspects to them and I am looking at them out of context.
