Still working on both site comics, albeit slowly. One is something like 60 panels long.
I apologize for this all being so incredibly late. The tl;dr is my health really started to deteriorate in late September. I had an insurance issue with switching doctors and couldn't get meds for nearly two months, during which I also got pneumonia.
Like I said in a comic post before, when discussing my 'super diabetes,' there's nothing more boring than having someone inundate you with their own health issues, so I personally struggle giving updates concerning this.
"Feeling a little bit better, but not great."
"Uh-oh vomiting again. Can't work today.."
"Here's everything my doctor said on my visit.."
That crap's obnoxious. You're here to be entertained, not be a creator's depression dumpster. Depression was also something pretty nasty I fell into for quite a while, sorry to say. I had to pull myself out of my own shit to start working again. I got in such a personal rut I struggling inspiring myself to draw.
Not an excuse. I could be better at giving updates. I'm human and it's a personal failing of mine.
Not everything was entirely health or mental wellness related. Claire and I were doxxed and swatted multiple times since the fall. Claire had guns drawn on her and we've had our kids pulled from their beds in the middle of the night for some anon's personal enjoyment. "Did they catch them?" you may ask. No. And they'll do it again. Spoof numbers, text to speech, calling crisis numbers instead of the police so there's no FOIA.. they know what they're doing. And it's coming to all of us unless there's legitimate governmental and judicial intervention.
Every single major appliance in our house broke over the course of weeks, including the car. "Damn the lawnmower broke.. guess I'll use the weedwhacker" > that breaks too. Yeah idk, lol. Bad things come in dozens sometimes.
We also unfortunately had our second oldest child run away from home. While we monitor our kids activities on the computer, she very covertly got groomed online in various website chats and bolted. We did get her back, thankfully, unharmed. We had to do an extensive online detox, and dedicate spending more time with her where really none exists.
Time.
Our most precious commodity.
Claire and I have felt pretty crushed over the litany of things needing our attention, and pulling us away from working. We did have to heavily prioritize our six kids (two of which are under 2 years old and still never sleep.) I'm thankful to her for all her efforts, since she'd often be the only glue holding things together on days I was too weak to stay upright.
Much of this is stuff we don't really WANT to talk about, especially openly on the main website, but fans deserve an explanation. So I'm going to post this more personal stuff here. I don't want swatters getting their kicks out of it. I don't want my gossipy extended family gossiping about it or sticking their noses in.
I'm also no posting any of this for sympathy. We're adults. We're working through it. Past it.
Babies get older. Kids mature. I got my meds again, and I'm really excited this drawing got done. Hope you like it. Can't wait for the next one!

Geez. What do you even say to that? You're in our thoughts feels really inadequate but also there isn't much else to offer.

The title makes me think of that page where Quinn dreamed she got all the sisters pregnant. 🙂
