So, I had to throw in my first comment on Patreon. As someone who went through a similar situation (at least with friends, never almost had a homosexual kiss, but plenty of people thought I was gay) I feel sorry for Pumpkin here. Hopefully Ashliii and Bubbles have some sense and we don't have Pumpkin dealing with the living nightmare of not knowing yourself yet, but everyone else thinking they know you. But,that is a huge turmoil that could take a long time to explore, so it could be interesting to watch as well. I guess we'll see in the next couple of strips, eh? Also,huge fan and I would totally platinum sponsor if I wasn't a waiter living on tips.

Pumpkins shout-out was "but I'm not a... shitfuckhell, that BITCH", as she just now realizes what Kat has done to her and the slice of hell the rest of High School will be. And just how much fence mending will be needed to get right with Ashliii. She has not yet considered what home-life will be like....

I was somewhat surprised that Ashliii wrote everything out in those texts (though it's important stuff, so maybe she ditched all the "k thx 2 U" text-speak in preference to actual English to emphasize her seriousness) That said, getting an email saying "here's your extra comic!" is pretty spiffy.

So, any wagers on the nature of Pumpkin's muffled outburst? My guess is Pumpkin's just now starting to piece together the subtle ways in which she's been manipulated and is pissed off at herself for not having been as in-control as she thought. Any other guesses?

I don't know why Ashliii & Bubbles would've accepted the idea that the Buckinghams were ok with Pumpkin being alone with her lover but not her oldest friends. I think I would've laughed in Kat's face about that and offered to call Rosemary's cell phone then and there to verify. That's another fun thing about being a minor dealing with an adult in the wrong, the degree of extra trouble they'd get in for assaulting a minor makes it less likely they'll hit you, or more satisfying with the punishment the receive if they're dumb enough to do so.

I have a friend who, back in the day, created an AIM username of something like "Edddddddddd1". I asked him why he did that (implying why did he use all those "d"s), and he answered "Because 'Edddddddddd' was already taken."

Oh! Screaming. Yeah, I guess that's what she's probably doing in that last "panel". (I was initially thinking that the "emphasis lines" were her realizing that she was accidentally suffocating herself. :P )

Possibly not. Younger generations are considerably more tolerant about such things. I hope.

While it hasn't been said either way about Pumpkin, I can bet her school life just got some hell, even if it wasn't true. I would maybe hope her friends could think better, but then I remember high school :p

Crying or screaming is the real question here. Poor Pumpkin. If she was sympathetic to Kat when her mother busted in, she sure as hell won't be now!

Ashliii just gained major ground in the "awesome character" rankings. And shockingly Kat managed to drop even further in the rankings despite not appearing in this strip. And I lol'd at the extra i's in Ashliii's name.

Thanks Westin, and I did battle with myself over having these strictly Patreon for that very reason, cause I'd love everyone to see them and I like the story. But unfortunately it's just not the main storyline, and we wouldn't see the rest of what happens with Ellie for about another year if I didn't make this a spin off at some point.

That's the best and weirdest compliment I've ever gotten. But yeah, it's probably because I've been surrounded by females my whole life.

Wait, so did Kat tell Ashli and whats her face they were together?? Also, I think this side story will be a nice emotional roller coaster to enjoy, regardless of what Pumpkin's definite "swingage" is. Keep classy Chris.
