I know this arc is one of those sandwhich arcs it has very very great moments though some of the best, definitely thriller I keep forgetting ppl havent seen this before and i was the same amount of lost whe i first watched this so i have to not yell at the screen lol its been so long since this first time i seen this

-Michael Jackson's Thriller? Yeah that's intentional according to most fans. Oda loves making references. If not, it's still a suspenseful movie genre. -"Samurai Ryuma from the Wano Kingdom in the New World who slew a dragon" is a character (when alive) from Oda's previous manga one-shot "Monsters" which makes that story "canon."
