The love story between Vlad and Mini in this film still brings me to tears- the part where they are dancing together, him in that amazing purple suit, his enduring love and their finale- I'm so happy that you too are a fan of the Oldman. The only one that moved me more was his portrayal of Sid Vicious- that final scene where he's getting into the taxi and my heart just *knows* what's going to happen...

Again, is there nothing that you can't do? I'm not sure who the character is but I'm sure it will be awesome, your talent is only exceeded by your wonderful imagination and passion for your craft and you never fail to deliver a winning performance! Major thumbs up good sir! :D

Hard agree. :) Jim has pulled off stuff that I would have rolled my eyes at if performed by a lesser actor -- much less this creative feat! His ability to capture the audience's attention, and to immerse it fully into the world he creates on camera, is spellbinding.

Jim, I'm gonna say that, while I adore your Vlad, I never did feel the need to go back and watch the source material. Like, *at all*. ^^;;; Probably because I was never really into vampires to begin with: I was just thunderstruck by the way that you acted yours. As a result, I dunno anything about this costume except that it's armor (#1), and, (#2), I sure as hell couldn't make it. Now, your feelings are valid. Artists tend to be their own worst critics, and are usually so close to the work that every tiny bit of improvement that can be thought of after the fact, they kick themselves over. Yet, everybody here (most of whom I presume HAVE actually seen the movie and are fans of it -- many of whom are likely hardcore fans of vampires, too) are thrilled as anything! And as for me? I don't know how the hell you do all this incredible stuff. I just know that I'm super looking forward to seeing what you've done with it! n_n <3

That is great! I use sintra for my armor, but I prefer plated. You should do an arts and crafts video sometime.
