Not sure if you've noticed but the mid episode break cards show how yu is doing in leveling up his social stats (knowledge, courage and so on)

While nanako having a persona would be cool (and a chuld having a persona isn't unprecedented just look at ken) under persona 4 rules she would have to face negative parts of herself she buries or doesn't accept so she's better off without one
