Today we come with a pretty cool behind the scenes treat, 11 whole freaking minutes of a cocktail scene from MS2b!
This build is like... what would normally be called an alpha state I suppose? There's still so much more work we have to do and things are running slow/late as usual but we just had to show off how the main parts of the game is coming along because the VFX is coming together so god damn nicely.
We're actually kind of blown away ourselves at how freaking pretty everything is looking (I know that may sound weird but we don't really get to see the final state of anything till we actually are able to build it in-game since visual prototyping is done outside of the game-engine.) After animating dozens of characters and environemntal elements, desiging particles and fog that wont melt the Switch, finalize UI design and animation, cocktail design and so so so much more, we're finally starting to hit that point where all the dots are connecting enough to get really solid playable segments.

I have to strongly reiterate, please remember, this is NOT the final product as theres a lot of little things that are still a bit awkward and need fixing.

You had me at the 1:00 minute mark with the full shots of Paige and Ritona and then again with the over-the-shoulder camera angles at the bar. That's just fantastic.

Get a big old "wow!" from me. The character expressions and movement are great. I really love how expressive Binnack in particular is in this scene.

I really love the animations you've added. They really give a sense of personality to the characters. It's especially noticeable in the more subtle animations, like at 3:03 when Ritona slides her hand down her face in response to Paige. I think this is a wonderful direction you're taking Fault and it captures my interest in the characters the same way the first game did when I played it for the first time.
