A Rare Non-fault Update
🕑 Added 2021-10-04 13:00:06 +0000 UTCHare-san and I gave some thought whether to post this on AiD’s Patreon or not... but eh. Why not.
You see, Hare and I, sometimes (though very rarely), participate in other projects outside of fault. These projects are done on an individual basis and our paths never tend to cross since no typical project ever needs both a visual effects/editing artist (my domain) and an artist (Hare’s domain) together at the same time… that is, until recently.
A few weeks ago we were asked to create a single trading-card like thing with 5 ranks of the same character, all animated accordingly to their tiers for a Cardana ADA NFT project. The really cool thing here was that we over at AiD had full creative control. Story setting, character design, world lore promo video… we were able to do basically anything we wanted. So we did. And we had a lot of fun with it 😂
So fuck it, why not share it here right? Because technically everyone in AiD pitched in to make this super quick side project a reality. A lot of these NFT stuff tend to look like non-sense but I think what we made is pretty cool, whether you're into NFT's or not.
Please take a gander at a rare site that is AiD working on something that is not fault: PROJECT WIGHTS
Here are the top 2 tier cards of "Signal" or "Shigure Naruse":

"Signal" Character Design ^
You can check out the rest of the cards over at the official website here: https://www.projectwights.com/
Also check out this lore video that's fresh off the grill too!

For those of you totally uninterested in WIGHTS that's cool , no problem. We got some very exciting fault updates coming in the next couple of weeks, so please sit tight.
Thank you for all your patronage as usual. Hope you are all staying safe.

ALICE IN DISSONANCE
I understand your concern, but it's totally coming from a place of ignorance. Are you saying that wouldn't you want the original artist that created said screenshot to be properly compensated? Do you think something like lithographs are "bad for artists" too? Or believe that a photo shot on a smartphone of the Mono Lisa is the same thing as the original painting? This is simply odd coming from a person who's a patron of the arts like yourself. I can only assume that you're not understanding the underlying technology and only looking at the bad apples that's given this new scene a bad name.

No, please NO! Don't encourage the spread of NFT. That's a bad idea for artists all over the world. That's creating speculation on something even less valuable than a screenshot.

The quality of the cards are amazing! I'm tempted to get one...
