It is but lately, AiD's been trying stuff out with Unity. They've kinda exhausted the Ren'py engine for their needs so they want see how Unity goes. Also makes for easier porting.

Also, what is it you are doing with Unity? I thought Fault is made in Ren'py?

I was wondering if these three blue menu dots at the top middle in the StP techdemo will be retained? They look a little bloaty or maybe out of place. Maybe you want to recolor or hide them a little better, let them go over into the rest of the UI more fluently? I hope you get what I mean. Or maybe you've already done so, I don't see them in the StP screenshot anymore? Different bubble types makes sense, that thought had never occured me, but now looking back it probably would've helped differentiating various types of speech or though particularily in the beginning of ms1.

Crimson Idol

Nice to see the UI-overhaul and to hear that the team's still working on the ports. But I hope you will relax a bit during the seasons holidays. :)

It's so beautiful...

Can't wait to get these on the Vita! I'm liking the fantasy style text blurb. That background for StP looks amazing. Leaps and bounds better than the original would ever be.

Nari Kim

So pretty..

The Mighty Lord Noobius

The changing of seasons sickness strikes again. I just got over a sinus infection last week and it literally felt like somebody was constantly stabbing me in the head with Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen knife for a couple of days. Hopefully the series will Gain more fans once it gets ported to Sony's platforms.

Can't wait for the Sony ports, so I can buy the game all over again!

Silvernine

First of all, don't die from a cold. Otherwise who is going to fix that run on sentence?

First of all, don't die from a cold. Otherwise who is going to fix that run on sentence? Second of all, OMG is that scenery gorgeous. Like, it's GORGEOUS. HOLY MOLY GORGEOUS. Wow amazingly GORGEOUS. It looks like Zen. Just like the zen you feel from watching Aria. Is StP Aria's alternative universe? Hahaha.

Another way to go about it would be to simply release the update as a patch for the current game, but keep the current game available as a Beta channel release. That way the old version is archived on Steam while the new version won't have to be counted as a new game.

There are a few games, Divinity: Original Sin and Skyrim most immediately come to mind, where new and improved versions of the same game have been released on Steam. In those cases owners of the older version received a new one for free while the older version stayed intact but renamed, e.g. Divinity: Original Sin (Classic) and Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. The two examples come with different business models: buying Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition nets you both the classic and the new version, while Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition are separate, differently priced titles. Either way though it would be entirely possible for the two versions to be kept on Steam, and it's been done before!
