AiD Discord for Patrons
🕑 Added 2016-07-11 07:35:02 +0000 UTC Was thinking of making an AiD Discord for patrons because Patreon messages kinda suck.I'm doing this on a whim so it might not pan out. Maybe have a #public and #patrons so we can consolidate general public and patrons in one area... What do you all think?

Yes I'm about to reply to my own comment. I like it, it was nice getting to chat with other patreons. And in this chat we can find people with similar interests to do similar things with. Not much other to say other than I liked it and I felt like this was a long time coming and a necessary thing to make the community closer.

So. I'm curious, what would this be used for when it comes to Alice in Dissonance? or is it just a cool little feature for the community to get together? either way I'm down for it

Weeird! D: It works with a temporary guest account, but with my own it just refuses. Even after logging in and out. :( Could you try maybe creating a new temporary invite link? :(

You won't be missing out if you don't join or anything because we'll be posting here as usual. Many people have asked so I just decided to make it on a whim. I'm still going to answer Patreon DM's as usual and reply to comments here as I've been doing. The Discord thing is not by any means a mandatory thing,

I think he's talking about just fans talking amongst ourselves mainly. The patreon user posting is not that great, so this would be an alternative. They aren't going to substitute AiD posting on the Patreon page.

Personally I'm not so fond of yet another app/login. What kind of messaging are you looking for? If immediacy is not a major factor, it's not clear if something oriented towards real time comms like Discord is the best solution. Is it just to supplant the Patreon messaging or would it begin to include the postings as well?
