🕑 Added 2022-04-24 13:27:43 +0000 UTCTylix paused for a breather as she readied for another counter strike. The fight had dragged on for several minutes, as attested by the ruined furniture and blood splatter around the room.
Tylix’s claws were soaked in blood, but they were all Connan’s. The boxer stood a few steps away, breathing heavily as he held his right hand tightly over a bleeding wound at his gut, while putting up a guard with his left. Slash wounds crisscrossed his arms where he had blocked Tylix’s attack, rivulets of blood flowing from them, adding to the pool at his leg.
Even so, the seasoned fighter would not back down, even as he appeared dazed over the blood loss. Tylix’s rage was also unabated, the boxer’s defiance making her even more furious. Keeping an eye on his stance, Tylix pounced forward as Connan moves in for another strike. This time Connan sacrificed his guard for the strike, leaving his right completely open to Tylix’s claws.
“Stop! ¡Lo vas a matar!” the hostage cried out, putting herself between the two assailants. Her action surprised them both, stopping them in their tracks.
The “hostage” then turned towards Connan, concern written on her face as she took a closer look at his wound. Connan also seemed to deflate at her interruption, backing up to a wall, then sliding down to sit in a bloody mess.
Tylix had snapped out from her battle frenzy, and only now did she realize the extent of damage done. She slowly approached them, but the Spanish girl screamed at her,
“¡Fuera! ¡Tu diablo!”
Artist’s Note:
Looks like the jig is up, and Tylix may have gone overboard.
Middle panel didn't look as dynamic as I imagined, skills are still lacking on that part.

Now I'm wondering if the woman was an actual hostage, and is horrified what is going on, or working with the gang and was just bait.
