🕑 Added 2021-11-21 13:38:36 +0000 UTC“We’ve received report of a kidnapping around Tailor Street,” the HQ radio buzzed in, “hard to tell if it’s a hoax. Tyler, you’re the closest one available. Can you go check it out?”
“Actually, my car just got…”, Tyler started, but changed her mind. “Nevermind, I’ll check it out. Send me the details.”
Tyler checked her surroundings, but the perpetrator who had slashed her car was nowhere in sight. Walking hastily towards an alleyway as HQ filled her in on the details, Tyler kept her eye peeled, making sure no one else was around.
Reaching a secluded spot, Tyler concentrated on her current form, then “released”. It was a sensation similar to releasing your stomach after sucking it in, but for Tyler, black slime begins to ooze out from her clothes.
Though she preferred to maintain her full human form, Tyler had slowly grown used to the symbiote form, the sleek black body stronger and much less constricting in comparison. Without breaking step, Tyler crouched down and leaped high towards the walls.
As the slime rushed out, covering every inch of her body, Tyler can feel Tylix’s consciousness grow within, taking over the minute details of the symbiote bodily functions. As the dark fluid swept across her eyes like a shade, so too does its mind lapped over Tyler’s.
Tentacles formed and lashed out from her torso, some wrapping around her limbs to speed up the transformation, while others took care of her items and clothing. Tyler hasn’t fully understood how it worked, but somehow her clothes, keys, gun, walkie-talkie, etc are all absorbed into her symbiote body, as if into a sub-space pocket. She should take the opportunity to test the limit of that space next time.
At the end of her jump, Tyler’s hand had fully symbiotised, her claws now gaining a firm hold onto the wall’s surface where she landed. With another tug, she easily boosted herself up, till she reached the rooftop. Tylix is now ready for action.
Artist’s Note:
Just a “superhero suit up scene”, and a brief TF scene at last! Quite a dry spell over the last several pages.
