🕑 Added 2020-07-12 06:48:35 +0000 UTCStartled by the ambush, Cynaith let go of Tylix, who quickly slipped from her clutches to escape. Cynaith called on her spawns to cease, but her commands were weak compared to the Queen's, and the spawns maintained their attack on Cynaith.
Tyler was still weakened by the mental assault, so her instincts (Tylix) took over. With a rush of adrenaline, Tylix ran towards the entrance, and jumped into the sea, intending to put as much distance between them as possible.
Eventually, Cynaith managed to bypass the Queen's command, as the Queen herself was getting further and further away. Her spawns stopped, a confused look on their faces as their Master reasserts her command. Irritated by the turn of events, Cynaith slapped hard at the spawn which had been chewing her butt. That had hurt.

Aaw, it's not the spawn's fault. But such is the fate of minions.
And we'll be getting a change of scenery in the next page!

I love how Tylix is telling Tyler "We gotta move!". I can tell once Tyler gets back into being a cop again, she will encounter a lot of symbiote problems.
