Voreocracy 0.41 is slowly starting up. Even if it's going to be a short update don't expect it in the coming months. Work is once again taking more of my free time, though not as bad as last time. I'm going on a work trip again for about a month, so progress will completely stall until early December where I should be able to put more time on it.
The 0.40 version is going to be release for everyone in about 2 weeks so stay tune if you haven't played it yet.

So far I'm quite unsatisfied with ai capabilities, maybe I'm just bad at command prompting.

Have you considered using an A.I. assisted graphics program to possible speed things up by handling the more repetitive parts of the creation process? This is, IF such a program exits, which it logically should.
