Unfortunately, not much information was provided regarding why the captain was naked. It was mentioned that the captain's body was found next to another passenger's body, rather than multiple bodies. This suggests that they may have been found separately, possibly in a sleeping compartment. Based on my research for this video, it is not uncommon for crash victims to be without clothes, often due to fire or speed (the force of the air current tearing the clothes off). However, the report states that there was no fire following the crash, and considering the maximum speed of the ANT-20 at 250 km/h, it is unlikely that speed was a factor. Therefore, it appears that the captain voluntarily undressed himself, but the exact reason behind this remains unknown.
