When you see the investment required for AI to happen and see its genuine impact on the environment, i dont see how any normie being on board with it. The energy, water requirements and all the eventual e-waste to come from it make me very sceptical of it being net positive.

Theres experts that said the Gfc wasn't going to happen and to double down saying that ai investing isn't a bubble, but if it is, it's not that bad. For them of course. Because they invest super companies and 401ks money.
