Instead of creating custom traits to give your Sims a background history or personality, how about a one-time setup that combines hidden/gameplay and CAS traits, characteristics, skills, and more? It's all done for you, and after setting it up, you won't even need to keep the mod installed!
Here’s how it works: NPC Sims won’t just have a bunch of random traits anymore. They'll have traits focused around an archetype. Don't worry, they’ll still be unique – there’s a template for each archetype, but not all features from that template will apply to every Sim. It’s based on chance, so each Sim ends up with a mix of traits, characteristics, skills, and relationship expectations that make them feel more cohesive and interesting.
For example, you might have a "Workaholic" archetype. This Sim will be ambitious, a workaholic, maybe a perfectionist ...but there’s also a chance they’ll have unique twists, like being a professional slacker on the side. Their skills, fears, and turn-ons/offs will all match this personality, giving them a rich, believable background.
Then there’s the “Yandere/Psycho” – they’ll be fiercely loyal, hot headed, jealous, and expect emotional and physical exclusivity. Their traits and behaviors will reflect this, creating more depth and intrigue in your game.
Each archetype is thoughtfully designed to make NPC Sims feel more fleshed out and engaging. Whether it's a “Bum” who wants to live off someone wealthy and provide nothing at all but expect everything or a “Sweetheart” who is kind, family oriented, with a knack for baking and painting, each Sim will have a unique set of characteristics that fit their archetype.
In short, it’s all about giving your Sims more personality and a believable backstory without needing to keep the mod installed~

Oh I LOVE this idea, it makes it so much easier for getting the Sims to act/react the way that I would like them to
