🕑 Added 2023-08-07 11:35:49 +0000 UTCSo, the poll is closed and the results are in. It was a relatively close race between a Gangs update and Tobacco + Moonshine. The latter came out on top, however.
I will be focusing my efforts on the poll winner, with a subsequent Basemental Gangs update as soon as I have finished up on the tobacco plants and moonshine feature.
For those of you that may be disappointed that the cannabis and peyote fell short - this does not mean that I don't intend to work on those features a bit further down the line, but the poll was merely about what I am going to prioritize working on for the time being.

alcohol and tobacco - literally the worst drugs for the human body as both are literally poisons and intoxication is due to a less than lethal dose... y'all enjoy, just please, please make sure they can be disabled

Another request/suggestion (if you take that) would be a item (a sign perhaps) that lets us override the 'no smoking' lot trait for specific rooms (or the other way around). Wicked Whims have this for its "content", though I don't know how difficult it is to make. The reason I would like this, is because if we set an apartment as "no smoking", it affects the whole building. They can't even smoke on the balconies. If we had signs (preferably ones that would be invisible in play mode), we could get around this by setting smoking policy on a room by room basis.

Would it be possible to add ability to bum cigarettes? I think this would be an immersive way of getting addicted, especially for teens who are not supposed to smoke, but might do it anyway.

There are quite a few mods out there and even EA... in gameplay, for making beer & nectar... I haven't seen any other mods for Gangs but yours. I think the opportunity to expand gang gameplay and story telling are something really possible. Thnx for everything you do! <3
