Message from the Front Desk #57 - The Mystic Alliance Grows
🕑 Added 2022-07-26 23:53:56 +0000 UTCJust a little teaser for things to come. If you join the Mystic Alliance faction, you will eventually get a new outfit for Xun. (Maybe Kuhno will get one too so she's not left out :p)
Beyond the new outfit, they will get a unique weapon befitting their status. I had hoped to do more with the factions in July, but come August, I should be able to focus more and add more for the Mystics and finish the Smugglers Faction.
Even better, Veliss, the yellow Lojecki in that picture should have her first scene ready for August-September. The scene is looking very hot already.
I hope everyone has been enjoying the factions as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Once upon a time, another game I was working on was going to have some, but they never went that far. I think that's why I was so interested in doing some for Sunwave Hotel.
Even though the Megacorp faction is finished, I think before the game is done it would be great seeing Xun and Kuhno in sleek corpo suits as well. Time will tell.
Poll Results - Third Island Poll
There are the top options for side quests and additional content for the Third and likely final island of Sunwave Hotel.
1- Mjolnir (Spartan/Ironman) Armor Heist – There is a cutting-edge suit of armor on the market and one scrappy individual wants to steal it.
2- Rush Hour – Paired with an unlikely partner, work against the clock to save an innocent child in a powerful criminal’s scheme.
3- Dino Park – Scientists brought back extinct beasts. Or there was a private game reserve for the rich to hunt. Now the beasts are out.
I'm very excited to blend these elements together and make the third island as memorable as the second and first islands.
Naturally the Third Island will get some new characters as well, though I think I'll try to keep the numbers down. There are still so many characters that are on deck that need some time to shine :)
