Message from the Front Desk #18 - Next Sunwave Hotel Build

I hope that you are having a good week and a solid end to your October. I am writing this because I have a small announcement concerning the Sunwave Hotel Release this month. It’s going to be delayed. I should have made this post earlier and I apologize for that.
October was quite the month. I can safely say that it was one of those where I bit off a bit more than I could chew. That’s not to say I’ve been idle. Sunwave Hotel has been updated with new characters, and new scenes are being made all the time.
I just couldn’t really get the focus together to write the scripts and prepare the update in time without feeling like I was just rushing through it.
This delay will allow me to take extra care with the update so that I can deliver a polished build in November. It will include more of the adventure.
Beyond a set of brand-new scenes, I have started working on new scripts that will breathe life into existing scenes and character relationships. The first batch will be roleplay scenarios to add some extra kinkiness to 3 scenes. I think people will enjoy these inclusions.
Along with the scenes, it is my hope to bring in a new game system. Onakinii has a casino and to expand the game into some more akin to a visual novel GTA adventure, I plan to add some card games and other ways to earn some credits.
Most likely, we’ll just start with Blackjack. (I am a Craps lover, so maybe one day we’ll have some table games too.)
For the start, the system will be something to stretch the game’s potential, but as things become more structured, money will play a bigger role in certain quests and other future systems. I think this will be a fun start point. I already have ideas for other systems such as property purchasing, for those who want to build their own personal empire instead of just being an outlaw in someone else’s organization.
To summarize.
Next Game build will come out in November with additional content to make up for the gap in October. I am planning another Patreon Character Design activity, where you, the people making Sunwave Hotel a reality, will direct elements of a new character’s design.
Quests for the Corporate Storyline. Make sure you save before joining them. The Corporate Storyline will eventually run parallel to the Smuggler Cartel and Mystic Alliance Storylines.
6 new scenes coming. At least 1 new scene animation, hopefully 2.
1 new game system added. Most likely Blackjack.
Typo and Scene Fixes.
