It always surprises me to see how many people haven't jumped on the baked oats bandwagon, simply because they don't like the texture of cooked oatmeal.
So this is reminder 3,407 that baked oats do not have the same texture as traditional oatmeal.
Think of the texture more so like a dense cake or muffin.

I added a splash of almond extract and let me tell you!! Sooooo good I made them 2 days in a row!
