Spending Time Episode 523 - Chance Will Try Anything
🕑 Added 2024-12-11 16:22:25 +0000 UTCChance is back to share his recent exploits. He and Benjy start the episode sharing highlights from the recent Diamond meetup in Long Beach. Followed by Benjy's shameless plug for the 2025 meetups, Chance launches into his recent spending behavior. Benjy does a poor job by comparison. They discuss the newly-elevated Amex Blue Business Plus welcome offer, but Benjy ponders if it may not be as good as advertised. Next, the pair review upcoming AA card changes, particularly Barclays losing theirs. They wonder aloud about the highly-likely TYP to AA transfer option, while Benjy is suspicious of a potential devaluation. He feels the same about Hilton certs after the Waldorf Astoria New York is soon/eventually bookable with them. Chance and Benjy bond over the recent Fluz changes, accepting the bumpy ride to a happy place. After a bit more new card and Amex talk, Chance reflects on trying new things and how he decides when to move forward. They finish off the episode with a snack size portion of travel talk.
