I totally thought the diner owner was going to say "those are the original 1947... passengers" when Miles had the camera on the skeletons. Speaking as an East Coast elitist snob who looks down on the flyover states, I will say that Kansas City is one of America's truly underrated cities. Lots of history, great food, great people, cheap as hell. I only went there once for work but I loved it so much I keep volunteering to go back.
