[OLD] [EARLY VIDEO] FINALE - We Crossed All of Canada BY BUS!
🕑 Added 2025-12-24 16:29:28 +0000 UTCUPDATE: Jules in the comments pointed out that I mispronounced "Miramichi," so I've opted to upload a new version to avoid the embarrassment! So this botched version will remain patron-only, and you can go to 11:59 to hear the screwed-up pronunciation for yourselves.
Okay, I'm releasing this a bit early on here to give SOME form of exclusivity - I decided I'm going to release this as a free public video as a holiday gift once the first part comes out this evening!
Stay tuned, though: there's another great adventure coming next week that I probably won't be able to get out particularly early since it's a "timely" video, and then the January bonus video is going to be a lot of fun. Thanks so much as usual for all your support, and I hope you all have a very happy holidays!

Barrie native here! Honoured to be a place you recognize!!! The Allendale terminal (northernmost GO train station I believe) just finally finished being updated. Hope you come back soon!!

Huh! There's definitely a right-wing contingent of train enthusiasts in the US, but I'm surprised to hear that that's the case as a whole in the Netherlands! I'm so glad you've gotten joy from the community here, and thanks so much for the support!

I stumbled on one of your videos a couple of months ago, and found an amazing channel with such a unique and great culture. I'm from the Netherlands, were there is transit in abundance, but not that many people who actually enjoy it. The dutch train/transit enthusiast community is unfortunately quite right leaning politically, which makes their videos not that fun to watch, and the people not that fun to hang out with generally. On this channel I feel like I've found my kind of people, people who enjoy transit, city planning and lgbt people. I really enjoy your videos, and it's very cool to see a community of like minded people from the US even, which is generally not a place known for people who like public transit.

I'm in the middle of the prior [EARLY] one, so I'll just finish that one. lol

I'm supposed to be editing a video to certain point before stopping but I'm watching this instead. I have my priorities set today.

In the Toronto-Ottawa corridor my ranking is 1. Red Arrow 2. Orléans Express 3. OurBus 4. OnEx bus 5. Flixbus 6. Megabus 7. Rider Express 8. Book a Ride Rider Express ranked poorly due to the driver driving like a maniac. Megabus was boosted by decent terminals despite having the worst buses. Book a Ride was a disaster in every imaginable way and I'm glad they went out of business. Red Arrow has also left the corridor which is a huge shame. Especially since I had accumulated a tonne of loyalty points that I can now only use in Alberta

Amazing! Interesting that Megabus scores so poorly in terms of stations on Toronto-Montreal considering it was the top in my station ranking for Toronto - Ottawa routes. It's the only company in that corridor that has real bus terminals at every stop (except Scarborough which is temporarily on street due to construction). Also interesting that KEOLIS Orléans Express gets S tier in bus quality considering it was actually second place behind Red Arrow in my ranking.
