🕑 Added 2023-04-03 02:24:11 +0000 UTCMarch... That was all about the final stages of Otsutan, the 3rd GeoCity tile set (connecting roads on 2 adjacent sides), and a little adventure collaboration with Elven Tower.
So, where are we at now?
- The 4th GeoCity set will have connecting roads on 2 opposite sides...
- The very rocky 60x60 battlemap of a mountain pass fort is at inking stage and I finally have some time and mental space to work on it over the next week or so. Will probably release it in 2 stages: With and without the fort structures.
- I found a set of watercolour brushes for Procreate that I really like ... so I will be experimenting with how they can change the way I colour maps :-)
- & If all goes well... I would like to finally get a start the next Thorp map...
In more random news... I found an old pair of walking boots in my storage unit that actually fit my feet! yay!! Finding boots for feet that are very wide at the front, narrow at the back, quite short with high arches is nearly impossible. I wasted 2 days in March trying on sooo many shoes at more shoe shops than I can remember... before rediscovering these old forgotten ones ... and now I know what brand to go looking for next time :-)
After not having a good pair of boots for the last couple of years, I am looking forward to getting back into some more rugged walks.

I am in NE Tasmania at the moment ... plenty of landscape to troll around on. I have my eye on a couple of waterfalls to visit this week. Between adding more ink to the Mountain Pass cliffs...
Hopefully you've some good terrain near and accessible. There's nothing like unexplored spaces and fresh air for inspiration! The WIP looks intriguing, keep up the great work.
