Quick update and next comic
🕑 Added 2021-06-07 08:26:21 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
Just want to quickly say thanks for the support and comments/likes recently, I've been so busy with RL shit that I haven't had time to interact except hit the like button when I see a comment, I haven't even been able to get on Discord so hopefully I haven't missed anyone's messages there.
Work is slowing down a little which is giving me a bit more time to catch up but its still not quite back to normal so I'm trying to figure ways to make my workflow more efficient without sacrificing quality.
Someone mentioned to me I should look into a comic creator type of software instead of doing all the editing in photoshop so the next comic will be made with the new software. It'll give it a more professional look, help me structure pages and the way the story flows a lot better and it looks like it will save me a lot of time in scene building, rendering and editing work which should help a lot while I am unable to take any more time off work to produce content at the moment.
I started building a Halloween scene last year for the Slushe contest but I never completed it in time, I was kind of annoyed I spent so much time on it with nothing to show but as time went on, story ideas about it kept popping in my head. A story about one of the ladies and her husband who throw a Halloween party and multiple levels of debauchery and corruption occur with guests (both expected and unexpected).
There'll be some ladies making a 2nd (or 3rd) appearance (Sharon? Nikki?) plus some fresh faces that haven't been in a comic yet (Camila? Vicky?).
EWWL has been going a lot longer than anticipated but the plan is to wrap this up as Part 1 soon and then start the next comic. I'll then rotate with AD part 2, EWWL part 2 with some smaller single short stories thrown in between such as Raley's day at work and a few other ideas planned.
With a little downtime this week I tried to start work on one of the game animations I needed to finish, bad news is the new Diffeomorphic importer I'm using so I can make the animations in blender isn't loading my older scenes in a useable format. I used to be able to update morph paths and that would fix everything but even if I update morph paths now (people who use this will know what I'm talking about) it still doesn't fix all the twisted mesh. I used to know this plugin like the back of my hand but this new version has a lot of changes that are throwing me off.
I really need to keep on top of this for all future game content so to familiarize myself with it all again, I'll be making a few animations to add to the next comic and maybe even make smaller motion comics with the comic page renders and animations in video format. As much as this new version of Diffeomorphic importer is a pain it has improved the material conversion to the point that I think the characters look even more realistic than they do in Daz. At least from my importing of Sunny and Nikki so far, I'll post some test renders soon for you all to see and hopefully a quick test animation.
As always, let me know your thoughts or if you have any suggestions, cheers! :)

Thanks for the update. I can keep an eye on Discord as most of the questions are similar in nature, if need be. PS. that last image made me LOL, hehe

I'm so glad to hear EWWL will be continuing! I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever you make, but this comic really has everything I want. I just hope we're not too far away from Yuki finally getting seduced, and seeing some things happen in that office. There are just so many possibilities, I hope it keeps going for a long time! Whatever programs might help lighten the workload would be awesome. Trying to work on too many different projects can be a real problem for many artists.

I know nothing about comic creation programs but I just wish you the best for you and if you find tools that would make you job easier then great. That means more frecuent content so is a win win. A new comic with Sharon sound amazing in my book :P I was looking forward to the return of Rapper Bang Bus but a new story is also great. Glad to hear you're still working in the game. Mixing the comic pages with a couple of animations here and there sounds great too. Anyway. have a great week dude.
