🕑 Added 2020-02-08 01:20:11 +0000 UTCThis was the first comic I started working on about 6 months ago, I originally wanted to make a game but I figured I was jumping in the deep end too fast so decided to make a series of "Blackballed" comics, a collection of many stories that tie together a large number of characters in a "universe" so to speak with intersecting stories and of course, lots of varied IR action lol.
I haven't worked on this comic in many months but I know exactly where I want the story to go. It'll build up a little slow but that's because I want to create a lot of depth and tension but once the action starts it'll be in full swing.
Basic synopsis is a detective who's fucked up so many cases that he's on his last chance or he gets fired. His boss makes him take home an informant to live with him in a sort of house arrest but also undercover so they can work on the case together as this informant is their last hope of catching the Kingpin they're after.
He's not happy about it and neither is his wife... at first... his daughter is intrigued from the get go and some of the neighbors are very curious, especially the in laws that live next door.

Well, votes are unanimous so far lol. The only reason I did more "action, less talk/story" comics like "Class head" and "TGSTYNTWA" is because I thought that people might get frustrated with the lack of hardcore action during the beginning on "Rapper's Bangbus". I actually have WAY more fun making comics with a deeper story so once the other 2 comics wrap up, I'll focus more on story comics. The timing should actually work out so that just as one comic is building up the tension and story, another or both others will be in action mode, that way everyone should be getting what they want at any given time without me having to rush anything or lessen the story part of the content. And of course I'll still be releasing stand alone images and WIP's each week for that quick action fix anyway lol. If anyone can think of any reasons I shouldn't continue in this new direction then let me know, I'll always listen and take on board suggestions!
A good story is always appreciated, although it develops slowly, for me it is perfect, and better than if it is interracial
