Progress Update #7

First of all, I want to say a huge thank you for all your support!
I'm working super hard on the next update, 14 - 15 hours every day.
Round 5 is going to be a big update the only challenge, for now, the animations... Today I finished 18 animations, but I still have 13 remaining.
Every render takes 2 - 4 hours, depends on the complexity of the scene... for animations, multiply that with the number of frames. It's just an insane amount of work.
There is no way around it, I can't release a new update without animations.
I used to have plenty of time to play adult games before I started working on KM, for me a game without animations is not worth it, even if the story is really good when I play it I just feel something is missing...
I can rush the development and release small updates every month, but it's not fair to download the game for just 5 minutes of gameplay.
This is why I wanna take my time to give you the best quality that I could do with my hardware + longer gameplay time.
All I'm asking for is patience, I'm doing my absolute best.
So, if I finished this update on time, that's great! If not, I will split it into two updates and release the first part, then continue working and drop the second part one month after.
Also, what do you guys think about creating a discord server? you guys could chat, report bugs, share new ideas, etc.

Yup, great game, he is now making hus next one Tales and he is adding animations. It can be good without, it is as a rule even better with.

but lets make one example dev Perverteer no animation with his actual game and the completed game Sisterly Lust.

there are many without animations and of course not the actual ones but earlier top products where all without them and i played a lot and saw a lot of games with or without animation and i will surly not play actual or older top products again only to look IF there was animations in it or not.there where so many games in all the years i am playing Adult VG now,i hardly remember the most of it.Animations are not top priority in no game to make it successful.

@Markus Hlastec What you said is true, don't get me wrong I didn't mean if a game has no animations is trash, all I meant it makes me less interested in downloading it if the game is trash, you add animations or not, nothing is going to change, but if the game is good, when I play it I enjoy the story but I feel something is missing like when games put one render of the MC having sex with another character and then walls of text explaining what's going on, I wanna see it not read all of that text... That's why I want to add more animations to my game and focus on the story as well. It's okay if you disagree with me I respect that, different opinions.

It is not about either or, it is about all aspects adding up to an attractive product. Sure a nice story with little animations is for some nicer than a mediocre story with good animations, but show me one top product that doesn't have both. :) So kudos for the Dev to aim for good animations and good contact with his fans/patrons besides making a nice story.

you still can throw a game in to the trash even when it has ton of animations in it.when it is poorly written and the story and the caracters are shit and the renders are mid quality.Don´t forget that not the animations are making a good game,they are ONLY raisng up the quality a bit.I would always prefer a game without animations with a great story even with not so good renders over a game with tons of animations when the story is for the trashcan even when the renders are top notch.

Animations are fine but not imperative needet when the game is good and with that i don´t mean a game with animations.It is more like the gamestory first then the renders and the animations are just what there are a nice bonus not more.there are a lot of games that are just as good as there are without animations and few of these games are not from unknown devs either.so a no for me for the animations very important.they are not the reason i play these kind of games,and i am sure i am not the only one that thinks like that.

Exactly, animations are very important that's why I do as many as I could in every update. Yep, you are right discord is a must-have too lol I'll create a new server very soon. Thank you, Michael for the support ❤

Many players these days won't play the game unless it's animated (I'm one of them xD)... but I've seen a lot of successful games that don't have a single animation. either way, if you're having fun, that's all that matters Thank you, Quinfax for the support ❤

No game i know so far does not have a Discord server... it is where the game lives in the chats between players and developers. So yes, given you already identified one of the must-haves for VN's (animations), be sure to also add the second (Discord). :)

Keep up the good work. I don't need animations to enjoy the story or scenes but it's your game so make it how you want it.
