I've had some chaotic weeks, I feel like I could sleep for an entire month. I'm not sure if it's something that interests you, but I thought I'd share some real life stuff and a comic draft based on...an argument yesterday.
First off, I've been working mostly on the Graphic Novel, and while there is some amazing stuff in there that'll explain a lot, it means I don't get time to post comics as often, ahhhhhh. (Also I really can't wait to share so many concepts I wrote about in the Book..)
Next, I've been working on some merchandise in my free time! I finally want to get the poster prints and stickers going, but also have been playing around with making ADHD Alien stim toys (because hyperfocus). Oh, I've also had someone reach out to me who wants to make ADHD Alien plushies!! PLUSHIES OF MY ALIEN!! AHH!!

I've also started doing other art next to comics again. Super rusty and probably shouldn't be drawing past midnight, but yet here we are
And lastly, can I have an "awww" for my pupper who somehow ripped a whole entire claw out? (She becomes more and more like me every day. Can Dogs have ADHD?)

Welp, this one hits me where I live, all right. I've more or less built myself a career on being able to 'weaponize' hyperfocus. Happily, I enjoy the work I do - making that easier - but it also means I've hit a stress and burn out wall and just couldn't go on. I got better - rest will do that - but it was hard.
Really needed this comic right now. Recently been feeling bad for not working, managed to do it for a few days, which made me feel better. However, just when I finally felt redeemed, a work-related-but-not-quite hyperfixation appeared, and haven't been working ever since again! Thank you, Pina, what you do really helps!
