I've never even been formally diagnosed, although the psych I have for depression tried me on ADHD meds at my request (she's known me for years)... and gee wow, it worked! :eyeroll:

These are usually entirely 100% spot on for me too. Although I did laugh immediately at "always good at guessing time and...very early..." That's alien talk to me at least. I have SO little concept of time and am consistently late for life, so I live in block #2 of that row only! :) :) :)

Yeah I also went a lifetime thinking it was just me being... not quite the same as others. People would tell me to be proud of being different, but how can I do that if I don’t even understand myself?

Well I think this is pretty common, because usually you get diagnosed and sent home without being told that much. At least that’s my experience

Me too! Also diagnosed at 40. And I thought "But I CAN focus, so ... why do I need to get tested for ADHD?"

And again: This=Me. I can't believe how many years I discounted ADHD as anything applying to me because I'm not "hyper". Besides, if I can do these weird "extreme focus" times, I clearly don't have an "attention deficit"! [First time I heart the term "hyper-focus" was a revelation for me... (at 40yo!) Sorry... I digress ;) ]

Your comics where the symptoms are listed have probably helped me the most because of how on the head they are. Seeing all of the things that I assumed was just me being broken or weird are actually things that enough people deal with to connect with your comics is astounding.
