Small Comic and Life Update

-> TL;DR: I'm a depressed Pina and my workload at work is too much, am back now though and will make comics almost fulltime in 2 months.
Hey! I'm sorry I was so absent. Truth is as some of you might already have read, that I've been in a pretty bad place ever since coming back from america. Being alone and overworking all day for years has caught up with me once more.
When everything gets too much, I tend to hide from friends and family and sit it out until I finally get the courage to reach out to someone. This time, I let people know on Twitter / Tumblr and seeing all those nice messages helped cheer me up. Maybe reaching out for help aint so bad after all?
So here is the good news though: I'm finally done overworking myself to avoid Client RSD. I've finally had enough and realized I need to live and then work, not work and somehow survive on the side (I used to do client work until 6-7pm and then work on the comic until Midnight). I'm going to finish roughly two months of a hellish load of work - and then switch to making comics (almost) full time. If its possible, I'd like to make Comics 75% of the time and 25% of the time client work (because the comic isn't enough to survive).
I hope I can have enough head space this way to make comics that stay relevant and educational for us Aliens and our loved ones. I really want and need more time to make the ADHD leaflet with all info, and a longer comic about how I got diagnosed and trialed medication.

I know how you feel when you just want to retreat and it's fine. Curl up, internalize it but, when you're done and ready to talk, I'm happy to listen.
Looking forward to that. And it is you who I've to thank as it is your comics that have helped me cope and feel much more alien-normal or should I say at peace with myself and the world so I no longer eat away at myself?

Thank you so much! comments like these help me feel more "alien normal" hehe. I can't wait to officially put in almost all of my time to making these comics - it helps me a lot with feeling validated, too.
Really glad to hear you are able of getting back to alien-normal. Thank you for your honesty, can only imagine how hard it is as I still struggle so much with that and the fear of imaginary reactions based on past experiences. Can’t express how happy I am that I found your comics and Patreon, its both inspiring and helps me a lot. A lot of warmth and I’ll be cheering for you as you move towards your new and much more health work-life-integration :)
