USA Update! Photos from Mississippi
🕑 Added 2024-09-05 21:04:33 +0000 UTCHi everyone, we are currently in Virginia for the last leg of our time in The States. In early August we were staying with my (Eric's) parents in Mississippi for just over a week and while we didn't film while we were there we did do some casual exploring with the family and of course that means photos happened. So here's a collection of them from our time down there!
Make sure to click on the photos open a gallery with a bit of commentary under each photo.
While we didn't film in Mississippi we did do some filming in NYC so keep an eye out for those videos sometime in the fall when I get a chance to stitch them together nicely.
We have been and will keep doing periodic livestreams during our visit in the states though, so make sure to keep an eye over at twitch.tv/kydeanderic .
We should have some photo updates coming from NYC and Virginia! Hope everyone is doing well.

essentially it was an affordable area they could settle down in with weather they like more than central Oregon. They are done with snow haha. -e

haha, "reverse culture shock" is a huge conversation to be honest. it's never the things you think will be odd, it's always new things you forgot or didn't expect. I think the squashed burger was more of a disappointment hahaha. -e

it's amazing how much "general tech" we gained out of the space race, it seems like there is so much of it's hard to even begin to name it all.

Cool photos from NASA. I have friends who worked on some of the programs that came after Saturn using some of the technology. There's even elements from that era in the missile program my son works on.

Is calling a feather a flower a joke or did you forget the English word?

That's some real delish looking ribs π How was food compared to what you remember. Any other reverse culture shock stuff like your squashed burger?

Thanks for the pics from the south. It would be interesting to hear how your folks got to Mississippi from the west.
