Good book. He's a great academic writer and is apparently well respected in his field. And it's always nice to see someone reaching across aisles to bring people together in a shared reality. I had a few takeaways relating to tribalism from it but I haven't factored them into any videos yet. I was exploring thesis ideas for the New Left video and went down a tribalism path for a while that I ended up ditching. Oh and he didn't have impact shaping my views distinguishing conservative, progressive, and liberals. I already knew liberals were their own separate thing and I fleshed out the liberal left and liberal right thing while I was researching for the evolution of liberalism video. But he did influence my understanding of the psychological differences between the left and right.

What did you think of the righteous mind? I don't recall you mentioning much from this book but perhaps it helped shape your analysis on the differences between "Conservative / Progressive / Liberal Right / Liberal Left"
