Audio and Voices!

When it came to sounds I did a pretty bad job with Sana's game! There is no large variety of sounds for different situations but also the way I implemented them was very amateur-ish. I would like to improve on this!
But there is also the topic of character voices. That's a dangerous one!
Voice acting in H-games can throw people off very easily so I want to take the 'less is more' approach. I like the idea of having voice acting without spoken words.
And something I want to especially focus upon is proximity sound effects.
When I did them in Sana they were received well but I did them poorly.
I think it might even be fun if I could get rid of the emote bubbles that would tell you where the girl is and have players rely only on sound to locate her.
For example, you could figure out where a scene is about to happen because you can hear one of the girls making very quiet sounds behind a wall.
But that would not work very well if people want to turn voices or sound effects off so it's probably not something everyone would enjoy.

How I would like to use voices in dialogue, scenes and how the proximity effect is improved.
Jam agreed to help with filming but please keep in mind that it's not her final voice! Just something I made out of random materials!
Before I invest lots of money on voices for all the girls I need to know what you think!

Most of the feedback I'm getting seems to agree with you! The talking noises doesn't add much for most people but the moaning sounds fading with distance is very popular.

distance sounds are always nice, you don't need fully voiced but having it adds a lot to be imagined and helps you find certain h scenes. but sound is enough if you don't need the voice

I like your approach, personally I support voice acting in h-games if the product is more VN than anything else otherwise im more likely to turn off the voices and leave just moaning/sex sounds
