Realistic or Koikatsu?

I’m writing this post because I’d like to ask you a question, and once again I’ll make a poll for it. That way, anyone who doesn’t feel like writing a comment can just click on the option they prefer.
So, here’s the thing: I had an idea for a video game some time ago. I wanted to make it with my friend in Unreal Engine, but I don’t have the money to hire him until we finish it the way I’d like. And if it didn’t sell, it would be a lot of money lost, so I thought about doing it on my own in RPG Maker instead. However, now I’m facing a dilemma: should I make the game using realistic HoneySelect graphics or anime-style Koikatsu graphics? I’m afraid doing it in Vroid or hiring an artist is off the table due to lack of money and time to work. So, I’ve designed the protagonist both in HoneySelect and in Koikatsu and I’ll show you both designs. Which one do you like better? Yes, the game would be about ninjas haha—it would be set in feudal Japan and you’d play as a kunoichi who, together with your companions, carries out missions.
The game would be yuri, of course, like all the ones I make haha, and the main love interest would be a cute princess who would start to take an interest in the protagonist. Though of course, there will be more characters you can get intimate with if the player wishes.
By the way, the artist working on the Koikatsu models has already finished 5 of the 8 models I requested. Very soon she’ll deliver all of them and I’ll show them to you!

Both could and would look fantastic, however I'm gonna have to say realistic!

Thank you for your opinion! I’m afraid I haven’t made many characters in Koikatsu, so I definitely don’t master that character editor very well haha. But yes, for a serious game set in feudal Japan like I have in mind, realistic art would probably fit better. Still, I owe it to my community, so I’ll always ask first :D

Honestly, both designs are excellent, so it's hard for me to choose one. The anime-style version has its charm, and I feel like with a few more details it would be perfect. However, given the theme of the game you're trying to make, it might not be a perfect fit. The realistic version, on the other hand, fits more with the theme of a ninja in feudal Japan. So, if you force me to choose, I would say the realistic version is more appropriate for the type of game you want. Although a kawaii girl like the one in the anime style version would also be interesting.
