Another Progress Update
🕑 Added 2024-03-07 12:10:30 +0000 UTCThanks for your patience on this update. Things are going well! I got a bit carried away with the writing, which has delayed the patch some, but there is a pretty big silver lining:
In addition to the half-a-novel's worth of new events for people on your station (tied to both training status and the new backgrounds system), I've also rewritten most of the random events to be more dialog-focused like the faction leader dates. Many of them also use the new character engine, and I'm working on getting those that don't to have matching faces once they move into it.
This was not part of the original plan for the patch, but it seemed silly to rewrite them all to use the new character engine, then rewrite them again later because the writing wasn't good enough. Better to just get it done in one go.
I still don't do deadlines, but it's closer than ever.

That's correct for now. I have other plans for the faction leaders, but that's a later patch (and a bit more AI progress)

Is this only for slaves and people at the station or is it implemented on faction leaders as well?
